Studio
Endless Flat Studio is a Vienna based studio founded by designer and architect Müge Du and Stephan Sammer. The studio works in the field of collectible design, focusing on sculptural lighting and objects that explore the relationship between form, light, material, and space.
Their practice brings together contrasting materials such as handmade Japanese paper and stainless steel, pushing the boundaries of craft, light, and form while remaining deeply rooted in material sensibility. Through this approach, the studio examines how objects interact with their surroundings while valuing craftsmanship, material honesty, and the subtle imperfections of handcrafted objects.
Müge Du
is an architect and designer working between structural precision and hand craft. Trained at the Vienna University of Technology, where she is completing her Master's thesis on lightweight structures, and further shaped at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, she previously developed residential and renovation projects across Vienna and Lower Austria.
Rooted in professional architectural model making, her practice explores circularity and the relationship between form and space, combining Japanese craftsmanship with her own experimental methods to create handcrafted lighting objects that sit between engineering and poetry.
Stephan Sammer
is an interdisciplinary architect and designer. Exploring the unintended and irregular, his work unites data driven design with handcraft, rooted in both research and intuition.
He worked at renowned architectural offices such as COOP Himmelb(l)au and Dietrich Untertrifaller. Trained as an architect at the Vienna University of Technology, he also developed his approach to design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
